Mr. Adamson received his training at the Arts Educational School in London, a school with an international reputation for excellence. Arts Educational School trains the top students from throughout the British Isles in ballet as well as all other forms of theater arts. Arts has produced dancers for renowned professional ballet companies throughout the world, including Houston Ballet’s own artistic director emeritus, Ben Stevenson. Arts Theater graduates include Julie Andrews and Jane Seymour. Mr. Adamson continued his ballet training at the Royal Academy of Dancing, Houston Ballet Academy and the Hartford Ballet Company where he danced professionally. Mr. Adamson has danced roles in ballets ranging from the classics to neo-classical and modern. His choreography has been performed at the Southwest Regional Ballet Gala Performance. A number of Mr. Adamson’s former students are currently dancing professionally. Mr. Adamson’s professional training, performance experience and gifted teaching combine to make Adamson Ballet School the only school of its kind in Katy and one of the very best in greater Houston. Assisting Mr. Adamson is a team of veteran teachers with years of experience in dance instruction, the average being well over ten years.
