Description

Adapt of America is a family of companies providing services to persons with mental illness. Since 1982, Adapt has filled gaps in services for people in need of non-traditional methods of treatment and rehabilitation. We specialize in tailoring services to individuals. We work in partnership with clients, families and support networks. Our services include Community Support, Clinic Services, Emergency and Crisis Services, Residential Services, Transitional Living and Day Programs. In addition, through our sister company, Adapt Psychiatric Services, we provide expert psychiatric care to communities through telemedicine.

Adapt provides supported, group apartment living that allows young adults to have the experience of living in and maintaining an apartment with 24-hour support from clinicians. Transitional Living includes training in life and independent living skills and referrals for supportive services such as education and vocational services, mental health, substance abuse services, health care and case management.

Adapt operates a call center 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, providing emergency mental health services, including suicide intervention and prevention. This service is available in the Dallas, Texas area in a 7-county area commonly referred to as NorthSTAR (a managed care behavioral health program for residents of Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall counties).
