Addison-Morgan was founded in 1987 to fill a need in the shutter market for a shutter which would be delivered as the customer expected: both on time, in appearance and to maintain its beauty over the life of ownership. To fulfill these mission elements: Delivered as Expected, On-Time, and Long Lasting Beauty; Addison-Morgan has adopted the following tactics. To deliver as expected, we generate and present to you computer renderings of the shutters designed for your specific window (so you can see what you are getting before you get them). We fabricate your shutters using the latest in CNC and PLC wood working equipment (so we can build exactly what you are ordering). We then hand sand and finish each component of your shutter order (so that we can bring out the natural beauty of wood). To deliver on-time we use a combination of computer and in-line techniques which streamline the production of your shutters. To ensure long lasting beauty, we select only the finest kiln dried lumber (to reduce warping), assemble components with screwed tongue and groove joints (to prevent separation), and use solid non-fingerjointed hardwoods (to eliminate sap bleed and cracking).
