Adex Electronics will be happy to repair damaged riser cards, including bus isolation extenders. The repair fee will vary, based on the damage to the board and the need for connector replacements. We will let our customer know ahead of time the repair cost for the board. Adex cannot guarantee repair for all boards. We will notify you if your product is unrepairable by our service department. If you have an older version of our product and wish to upgrade to the most current revision, Adex will allow you to do so for a cost of only 50% of the current list price.

To obtain a quote for a custom designed card, we would need you to provide us with the necessary details of height, dimension, and mechanical information. We would need to know your desired quantity and preferred lead time. The average lead time for a custom designed board is typically 4 weeks. If you wish to have one of our existing boards modified, the cost would then be based on a minimum order of 100 pieces. The lead time would generally be 2-3 weeks. The price would be based on our list price for the first 100 boards. After the first 100 pieces, our volume discount schedule will apply.

Our products basically fall into 3 categories; Bus Isolation Extender, Straight Extender and Right Angle Extender.

Our technical support team is willing to explain the functions of our products to our customers. However, we cannot take on the resonsibility to configure the system for the customer. A customer should have the knowledge of their intended M/B, the various bus structures on the M/B, the A side, B side convention of the add-on card, etc. It is not our job here, at Adex Electronics to select a particular riser for purchase. We will do our best to assist the customer in choosing the right riser card but there are many varying factors to consider other than the functionality of the riser.
