Description

Adira has been studying and performing various styles of dance since childhood, and has been performing Oriental Dance (also known as belly dance) for over eight years. An accomplished seamstress, Adira designs and creates her costumes. Costumes range from Cabaret-style with sequins and beads, to Tribal with heavy jewelry and tassels. Specializing in the Cabaret style of belly dance, Adira often features the veil in her program. She performs as a solo dancer and with troupes throughput the San Francisco Bay Area. Adira currently is a member of Troupe Al Bidayeh. Adira is a past member and co-founder of Troupe Namaste and a past member member of The Nile Spice Dance Company.
