AET has been working with the major Theme Parks, Resorts and Theatrical Venues on new attractions and projects since the company was founded in 1990. Our contracts with these companies preclude specific disclosure of most of what we do. From simple atmospheric effects to complex, one of a kind, automated show action equipment, AET has provided design, fabrication and installation solutions for our clients. AET has provided these services for attractions in the U.

First, a bit of background is in order. Tru-Roll is a descendant of Grosh Scenic Studios, now known as Grosh Scenic Rentals. Grosh, a family owned and operated business, has been providing scenic backdrops and theatrical draperies since the late 1920’s and continues today as one of the most successful rental houses in the country. In the late 1940’s Tru-Roll was created as a division of Grosh Scenic Studios to manufacturer theatrical equipment in support of a growing entertainment industry in Southern California.

AET specializes in supplying well-engineered and fabricated show action and show effects equipment worldwide to the major Theme Parks and other Location Based Entertainment installations as well as Motion Pictures. We provide a team that can take a project from your Creative Team’s earliest concept all the way through Opening Day and on into warranty and any continuing service needs.

AET enjoys a solid professional reputation based on the accomplishments of its founders, whose combined years of experience in the entertainment industry provide a platform of visionary thinking and state of the art technology for the design, development and delivery of technical services to the entertainment industry.

Since 1990 Advanced Entertainment Technology has specialized in Show Action Equipment, Show Effects and Controls, Automated Scenery, Props and Ride Safety. The addition of Tru-Roll’s line of track, theatrical rigging systems and drapery will allow us to expand the services we provide our clients within the theatre, film, television and theme park industry.
