Contact Us Advanced Building Specialties, Inc. has been in business since June 1990, as general contractors. We handle new site construction as well as renovations to existing units. ABS, Incorporated is licensed in Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, and can work in Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, and other Midwestern states as a general contractor (these states do not require a state license). We have constructed projects in every state listed above as well as several others. The principals of the company are Joe McMurry Jr. – President/50% Owner- with 18 years experience in restaurant construction, and Tony Oswalt – Vice President/50% Owner – with 16 years experience in restaurant construction. All of our project managers in the field are qualified and experienced in construction. Our office staff is well qualified and experienced in the administrative side of construction. We are large enough to get the job done but still small enough to give the personal attention needed for each project. Advanced Building Specialties, Inc. has been building and renovating many projects for NPC International, Inc., the world ’s largest Pizza Hut franchise with over 800 units, for the past ten years. We have constructed the R2K, Small Main Path, MP99, MP99 w/ Playhut, Clantonburg , and Clantonburg R2K concepts, as well as traditional stores. We also have built and/or remodeled Kentucky Fried Chickens, Church ’s Chicken, Wendy ’s Hamburgers, McDonald ’s, Shoney ’s, McAlister ’s, Krystal ’s Hamburgers, and Captain D ’s.
