Advanced Employment, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency that provides services to adults with a wide range of disabilities. Every person should have the opportunity to work in our community. Our mission is to place individuals in community-based jobs that take into account personal strengths and preferences. Our role in the community is to provide the level of training and support each individual requires to attain success in the community.

Advanced Employment currently contracts with 2 local businesses to provide services outside of the business location due to size and space issues. Individuals are employed to do packaging and delivery of goods. The employees are employed by AE and the businesses are charged per hour for the services provided. All payments are passed on to the employee in their paycheck.

Advanced Employment was founded in June of 1992. The agency spun off of one of the original Dane County Supported Employment Agencies, Community Work Services. Two workers, Krisanne Stern and David Verban ventured out on their own to satisfy the demand for more Supported Employment opportunities in Dane County.

AE, Inc. provides supported employment services to adults with developmental and physical disabilities. Services include assessment, job development & placement, job coaching and job retention. Our mission is to place individuals in community-based jobs that take into account personal strengths and preferences. Our role is to provide the level of training and support each individual requires to attain success in the community.
