We are all aware that we have been hit with the biggest jump in energy prices in 15 years. We may not know that analysts and oil producing countries expect prices to stay high, but we probably share that expectation. We also know that if prices go any higher, there will be major consequences in the economy and directly in our own lives. Eight in ten American surveyed recently said gasoline prices are a big problem. Home heating fuel is a major economic concern. Chemical companies were leaving the U.S. because of high natural gas prices even before last years huge increase in price.
