Advanced Metal and Welding was founded in 1926 by a hard working entrepreneur named A. T. Girvin. Mr. Girvin quickly focused the business on sheet metal work for the railroad industry. In 1951, Mr. Benjamin Crigler, in partnership with R. C. Duncan, ran the business for the recently retired Mr. Girvin. In 1960, Mr. Crigler bought the company and began to pursue jobs in design, fabrication, and installation for various industries. After many successful years, Mr. Crigler retired in 2004 and subsequently sold the business to Mr.
