She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelors of Science in Agribusiness Management and Marketing, and has her CSP certification from the University of Minnesota.Barb and her husband Steve have three children and a dog named Bear. She enjoys traveling, outdoor recreation, sports, movies and new learning challenges.

Laurie grew up in Hopkins, MN, America’s Raspberry Capital. She played almost every sport there is, but softball is her favorite. Laurie has had experience working in Banking, Insurance, HealthCare, and now is the Administrative Assistant for Advanced Practice Solutions.Laurie moved to Cottage Grove, MN in 1990. She has 2 wonderful kids, well actually teenagers, and loves spending time with them. Her son is currently attending college at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and her daughter is just a year behind him.
