APC was formed in 1993 using technology initially developed at Purdue University in close partnership with industry. Our specialty is the application of mathematical programming based optimization to the process industries. Our products are unique and reflect the unique skill set of our personnel who are highly trained and experienced in both optimization and process engineering. We have invested decades of research and development efforts into the solution of time-based resource management problems.

DPS was designed specifically for the beverage industry and has been refined over a decade of use. Performance is optimized to build stable pallets while minimizing sku splitting to maximize picking efficiency. DPS knows how to handle the specialized items encountered in the beverage industry, CO2 canisters and racks, Bag-In-Box containers, etc. DPS is flexible enough to handle the variety of layer picking configurations encountered in beverage warehouses. Some of our customers separate layer and manual picking.

Industrial scale biologics facilities involve enormous capital investment, long seed train to product times, and highly integrated support areas such as CIP, buffer and media making, and quality control/quality assurance. As such there is an enormous value in being able to accurately model a biologics process to maximize production, have engineering projects achieve the intended results, and be able to accurately coordinate within the supply chain. However, biologics processes pose a host of challenges in the development of accurate models and in performing virtual process analysis.
