Advanced Shading had modest beginnings working out of the home office of Larry Taylor, a veteran in the industry who had been a sales rep for many years for the Swiss motorized drapery firm, Silent Gliss. Larry branched out on his own and started Advanced Shading as a family business. Today we are an incorporated business with an office in Hayward, California, and work with leading architects, construction companies, and design firms in the Bay Area. With many high profile projects completed and a high rate of customer satisfaction, Advanced Shading has quickly become the place to go for unmatched expertise in the window covering business.
