Founded in 1988 by John Quandt, and now led by his son Christian Quandt, Advanced Wheels still operates on Johnâ??s original philosophy; our customers always come first. Our committed and passionate team of technicians and mobility consultants maintain certifications on all van modifications, and the newest technology, and participate in continuing education on a regular basis.

For over 25 years, we at Advanced Wheels have been providing quality sales and service of mobility vehicles to Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Located in East Granby, CT, our 14,000 sq. ft. facility provides our customers with a one-stop-shop for wheelchair vans, vehicle modifications, adaptive equipment, wheelchair van rentals, and general vehicle maintenance.

Founded in February of 1997, Accessible Vans of America, LLC. (AVA) is a member owned organization made up of independent Mobility Dealers across the United States who rent, sell and service wheelchair accessible vehicles. The purpose of this organization is to consistently provide its customers with the highest standards of product quality, safety and customer service found in the industry. AVA's primary focus is the rental of wheelchair accessible vehicles.
