Our Technical services branch of the group, was formed in 1992 to provide clients with technical professionals on a temporary basis. Technical personnel can be contracted for short or long term assignments. We have been very successful in providing the exact needs of the client with the technical professional's experience. That's one of the reasons why Advantage Engineering, Inc. has had the pleasure of providing technical services people to Utilities throughout the Midwest.

AE was founded in May 1991 by four individuals all of whom were experienced in electric utility design work. AE's first contracts were to complete the unfinished work that was begun for Union Electric and Illinois Power by another consulting firm that failed.

At Advantage Engineering we specialize in electric transmission, distribution, substation, gas and drafting design disciplines. We are an American owned firm with headquarters located in West St. Louis County. AE is a Licensed Professional Engineering Consulting Firm whose technical personnel have many years of experience performing electric utility design and drafting projects.
