Established in 1984, in Richmond Virginia, we are celebrating 25 years of service. Our Mission: To provide services to youth and families in need of assistance in an effort to promote successful growth and interaction within their community. The principle goals of this organization are to prevent out of home placements, to provide a structured academic setting, and to offer traditional or in-home counseling services.

Metropolitan Day School is an intensive, highly structured day school tailored to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities and emotional disturbance. The students receive individualized instruction in small group settings and have access to a comprehensive array of services designed to address their physical, emotional, social and educational needs. We uphold an open admissions policy and maintain a culturally sensitive atmosphere. Our client base reflect diversity in aspects of both culture and age.
