Aetna Building Maintenance, the regional leader for contract cleaning and facilities maintenance in the Midwest, was founded in 1936 by David Greenland. An immigrant from Poland, David started his business small, washing windows for local businesses in the Cincinnati area. He moved his family to Springfield, Ohio, sometime in 1939, where his business and family continued to grow.
