Topco Associates LLC is a privately held company that provides innovative business solutions for its food industry member-owners and customers.

Because we answer to our member-owners, not corporate stockholders, our ultimate aim is to grow YOUR business, not to drive OUR profits. That kind of thinking has propelled OUR growth for over 80 years.

Our story began in 1931 when a group of independent grocers near Plainview, Nebraska, joined together to form a wholesale buying group. Our founders built our business model in the cooperative spirit. We continue the same business practices today – focusing on the independent grocer.

Our unique business model allows us to run lean operations. Ultimately, the property belongs to our member-owners, and we take pride in maintaining state-of-the-art facilities to ensure product integrity.
