Born and raised in Ethiopia, Moges Tena came to the United States in 2000 with 5 years of experience working at a barbershop. Driven to open his own shop, he pursued his Associate’s Degree, Barber’s License, and assistance from ADC Business Development. After loans, counseling, and technical assistance MG Barbershop became a reality, and has recently experience 30% growth!! ADC is pleased to highlight the newly remodeled MG Barbershop and the drive and skill of Moges Tena.

ADC Financial Counseling Service promotes financial literacy. We believe that financial education creates choice and the opportunity to build a financial future. We provide workshops for all age and gender groups. We deliver these programs to community groups, classes and employers, and also offer “train-the-trainer” sessions for groups or agencies.

A self -taught artist who is dedicated to his art and concerned with progression of his style and development of advanced painting techniques. His works are primarily done in acrylics. However, he expresses himself using other mediums fluently, such as oil, and pastels. His view of the world comes through his paintings especially the use of colors and negative space – creating an emotional feeling in each painting. His abstract hard line paintings draw the observer into each painting revealing David's creative intent to develop a particular feeling or story.
