In February 2010, Cleve Buttars, Owner/Founder, sold his interest in the company to its employees. Agri-Service became a 100% Employee-owned company through its Employee Stock Ownership Plan. This was a tremendously generous move for Cleve to make and set a model in place to reward current and future employees for the success they bring to the company. As an employee owned company, Agri-Service has earned many awards for its efforts in Employee Communication and Open Book Management.

In the spring of 1993, Agri-Service purchased the former Andy and Bobs Equipment and opened an additional branch in Buhl, Idaho (20 miles west of Twin Falls). In the same year, it was announced that AGCO Corporation of Duluth, Georgia had purchased Hesston Corporation from Fiat as a result of Fiat purchasing New Holland worldwide and being forced to liquidate Hesston, and also that they had purchased worldwide distribution rights to Massey Ferguson tractors and combines, headquartered in England. Massey Ferguson Ltd. had (and still has) the number one selling tractor in the world.

Incorporated in 1933, Western Equipment Company (The Terteling Company) enjoys a strong legacy that can be traced back nearly 100 years. A major provider of massive earth-moving projects throughout the United States, the company specialized in roads, dams, bridges, canals, railroads, mines, munitions dumps and airports, as well as coal production.
