The purchase of AgWorks by The McGregor Company in 2012 renewed our focus and commi tment to developing the most comprehensive and easy-to-use tools for ag retail operations of the future, truly ‘by ag retail, for ag retail'.

As an industry, we cannot stress enough that we expect delivery of what is sold to us. Because the intention of the contracts we enter into with producers is the delivery of the grain, there is an exemption from certain requirements of the Commodity Exchange Act. If delivery is not intended or expected, then the contract would appear to be nothing more than a speculative position and fall under the scrutiny of the Commodity Exchange Act. It is only on very rare occasions that producers are allowed to buy-out of contracts.
