As the primary role of AHRS Construction, Inc., general contracting provides many advantages for the owner. With many years of experience in the construction industry, AHRS has established close relationships with subcontractors, architects and owners in the community. When awarded the role of General Contractor on a project, AHRS selects a group of subcontractors and suppliers to create an efficient project package for the owner. Along with the experience and established relationships within the community, AHRS also specializes in many aspects of the construction industry including concrete work, steel erection, carpentry and site work. Having an extended inventory of equipment, AHRS is experienced in self performing many of these trades. In doing this, AHRS is able to provide the owner with quality control for the entire project.

AHRS Construction, Inc. began as a small construction company performing residential and agricultural concrete work and has continued to service the community in a variety of projects. With over 37 years of experience in performing concrete work, AHRS has refined the techniques in completing such projects as residential basements; driveways and garage foundations; parking lots; and foundations for various types of agricultural buildings to accommodate for innovative developments.

With over 37 years of experience, AHRS Construction, Inc. has developed a sense of leadership with many dedicated employees. The workforce consists of over 50 experienced employees, half of which have been with AHRS for more than 10 years. The dedication of each individual employee combined with the strong relationships built within the community have proven the stability and longevity of AHRS. To optimize the quality work and efficient time completion of each project, AHRS utilizes the in house workforce and resources to self perform many aspects of the construction projects.

Jay earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University in addition to 14 years of experience in the construction industry, 9 years of which have been with AHRS Construction, Inc. While working with AHRS, Jay has developed strong relationships in the pre-construction community. In his role as estimator, Jay assembles a vast array of cost estimates ranging from lump sum bids to design build proposals to budgetary cost analysis. Jay also assists the project manager with cost control, procurement, scheduling, and coordination.

With over 36 years of experience in construction and project management of new and renovated commercial facilities, Jerry is capable of managing many types of projects. His commercial experience includes schools, libraries, recreational facilities, hospitals, and wastewater facilities. With his efforts on these projects, Jerry has built strong connections with owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
