AIA Triangle is the voice of the Central North Carolina architecture profession dedicated to serving its members, advancing their value, and improving the quality of the built environment. AIA Triangle draws its 600+ members from a ten county area that includes Wake, Durham, Orange, Lee, Chatham, Franklin, Warren, Vance, Granville and Person counties. In 2005, AIA Triangle provided its members 57.5 hours of continuing education programs; 57.5 of which were health, safety, and welfare credits, and 36.5 of which were free of charge. The 2007 Board of Directors remains committed to continuing and expanding the high level of member services delivered by the section. Among our goals for this year is increasing the participation and recognition of young architect and associate members and encouraging all members to become more involved. Since AIA Triangle is a volunteer organization, with increased participation, the organization becomes stronger and therefore more beneficial to its members. We are always looking for more members who want to be involved in AIA Triangle.
