AIDS Project Los Angeles is dedicated to: improving the lives of people affected by HIV disease; reducing the incidence of HIV infection; and advocating for fair and effective HIV-related public policy. Acción Mutua/Shared Action is a new program designed to help AIDS service organizations in the western United States build and refine their prevention programs for Latinos/as. The Benefits & Insurance Program provides expertise on HIV-related benefits and insurance issues. Benefits experts at APLA provide guidance on accessing a variety of public health care programs available to people with HIV/AIDS.
