Since its beginning in 2004, the Flight Center’s inventory of quality aircraft has grown dramatically. Now, our fleet consists of over 40 aircraft. Through this growth, the Flight Center is able to offer local customers the most advanced fleet for flight training. Also, our commitment to low overhead keeps the cost for services very low. Flight school operations are expected to exceed eight-thousand hours of flight time in 2013. Air America Flight Center is ever flexible and on the lookout for alternative methods to enlarge and engage its fleet.

We have over seven years experience in acquiring orthographic data via our airborne platforms, which gives our customers imagery with a top-down viewpoint. This is one of the major advantages for using Air America aircraft as your airborne platform for data acquisition. This data is ideal for integration into GIS environments.

Air America Flight Center conducts maintenance at our Daytona Beach facility, which consists of a ten thousand square foot hangar as well as a secondary four thousand square foot hangar. Our current maintenance staff consists of two managers and twelve mechanics. Our maintenance facilities can handle a simple fifty hour inspection, full aircraft restoration/rebuild, and custom engineering for our imagery operations. In addition to this many of our mechanics travel to the aircraft while on site for imaging contracts to conduct routine maintenance.

As with large metropolitan areas, entire counties are beginning to recognize the importance of aerial imagery to help better serve their policy-makers. Air America Flight Center has worked with multiple county agencies to produce their requested product. These massive county missions take a great deal of coordination and experience, which Air America Flight Center imaging pilots are trained specificly for.

Air America Flight Center is the premier flight training provider in the Daytona Beach area. We provide year-round training for students wishing to fly from the "first-solo" to the Private Pilot Certificate (PPL) up through the Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATPL).
