Air Balancing Service Co. is an indepedent testing, adjusting and balancing agency that specializes in all types of HVAC and process cooling equipment. We are certified by NEBB (National Environmental Balancing Bureau) and TABB (Testing,Adjusting and Balancing Bureau). We are also members of SMACNA, ASHRAE and CBC. The balancing of an HVAC system is not limited to just "testing and balancing". It is within our scope to investigate any problems developing from improper control function, erratic damper operation, fan related problems, water flow problems, duct leakage, as well as excessive vibration and excessive sound issues. As a total system balancing agency, we perform a multitude of tests and operations that provide the engineer, architect and building owner with a building that works the way it was designed to. And of course, a complete and comprehensive report is provided. Air Balancing Service Co. was started in 1960 and has grown to be identified as the "Problem Solvers". We use state of the art, calibrated equipment including Shortridge ADM electronic flow hoods and Shortridge HDM electronic water meters. We also offer "non-invasive" Ultrasonic water flow testing. We have the latest control software on our field computers, including; Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Trane, Carrier and Invensys. We employ only TABB trained and certified technicians.
