Air Control Techniques, P.C. operates as an independent, third party engineering firm and we are not influenced by the need to sell replacement parts or rebuild services. We help industrial clients rapidly identify performance problems, and provide engineering solutions.

John Richards, Ph.D., PE Dr. Richards has extensive experience in ambient air quality monitoring and fugitive dust emission factors. He is co-developer of an ambient monitoring technique that adapts the EPA 40 CFR Part L method for PM2.5 monitoring to serve as a means to measure ambient PM4 crystalline silica. He has supervised numerous upwind-downwind air quality studies and many PM10 and PM2.5 emission factor studies. He has contributed to the development of emission test methods for PM10 and PM2.5 that have been accepted and promulgated by the U.S. EPA.

He has previously served as the Director of Test Operations at Entropy, Inc. and as the Vice President of Envisage Environmental. He has a B.S. degree in Environmental Sciences and is a registered environmental professional and a certified hazardous materials manager. David Goshaw, P.E. Mr. Goshaw has fifteen years of experience in air pollution control engineering and air emission testing. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University and is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina.

Mr. Holder has thirty years of experience in air emissions testing and air pollution control engineering. Areas of specialty include emission testing quality assurance, specialized emission testing, and air pollution control equipment diagnostic testing.
