Akal’s Pacific Region Director, Mr. Lee Donohue, will be joining Securitas USA in the capacity of Director of Security for the Hawaiian Area. Mr. Donohue has a lifetime of experience in law enforcement and security operations. He is perhaps best known for his long and distinguished career with the Honolulu Police Department, retiring as Chief in 2004. “I have really enjoyed working with Akal and helping to build a great team in Hawaii for them”, Mr. Donohue stated, “and I’m glad that I’ll be able to continue serving the Akal clients with support and resources from Securitas.

Akal Security has won its first contract in Africa with a winning bid to provide security to the U.S. Embassy in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Akal is providing the guard services under a joint venture partnership with Sierra Leone-based Security Support Group international, said Akal International Division Director, Chuck Raderstorf.
