Akeena Solar Energy Systems, Sun Power Akeena Solar is the largest national residential and commercial solar electric system installer in the U.S. (based on 2004 data from the CEC and NJCEP). We provide design/build solar energy services to customers so that they can produce their own reliable and clean electricity directly from the sun. Our group of professionals are passionate about the environment and have been in the solar power field since the 1970s and the last "energy crisis." Akeena's growing list of over 500 satisfied customers is a reflection of the care and attention we pay to every installation.Akeena Solar employs three NABCEP Certified Solar Electric Installers (TM) - Barry Cinnamon and engineers Alex Au and Richard Abalos.
