Akron Porcelain & Plastics Company has utilized its years of experience in the custom molding of dry process industrial ceramics by providing total value to its customers. We help our customers achieve their product and performance goals. In business since 1890, the Company has custom molded millions of parts for numerous applications that require heat and electrical insulation. Our engineers have created innovative mold designs to produce complex shapes on a mass production basis.

The concept of History- sometimes it is muddled and sometimes it baffles the reader. Often the record is slanted and often it is not studied to avoid making the same mistake. Strategy: Akron Porcelain & Plastics strives to build quality into custom molded products by employing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to identify customer needs and to develop a process capable of meeting those needs. The Voice of the Customer is paramount in establishing the standards by which Akron Porcelain & Plastics manufactures, evaluates, and sells its products. Manufacturing is directly involved in the control of product quality from receipt of raw materials through packaging of finished goods.
