At Alain Locke, we believe that, given an excellent education, every child can realize his or her fullest potential. This realization in every student is how we define success. There is nothing more important to us than preparing our children to achieve this success, and not just measured by the standards of the local community. Our goal is to prepare our students to be globally competitive. Alain Locke Charter Academy is a program of the . Named for Alain Locke, the first African-American Rhodes Scholar, we are committed to instilling in our students the high standards of excellence he exemplified. To that end, we develop students with high expectations of self; we instill an understanding of the hard work they must undertake to attain these expectations; and we equip them with the tools to achieve absolute excellence.
