Description
Thankfully, there is a good deal of art to be had in this world. Walking out of one gallery means the opportunity to walk into the next. If you're feeling uncomfortable pressure to buy and the individual has been non-responsive to your honest, firm requests, simply walk away. Nothing more to be said. Perhaps you will help them from high-pressuring the next art enthusiast to come along. The best art you can buy is art that calls to you from that deep place within. Any other purchase is superfluous, and has taken something away from your primary mission. No pressure is the right pressure under which to buy art.
A: At first, I cut them out with a jig saw. That was insane. My hands would go numb. I got injured a lot. Then I had someone cut for me with a water jet machine. That was slow and thereby expensive. I looked into laser, but it was slow, expensive, and too precise for what I needed. When I contacted the plasma cutter manufacturer to see if I could do this, they told me that the technology was not precise enough to do what I wanted. I ended up creating some test files and sending them to the manufacturer. The test results told me I could do it that way, so I purchased the machine. It seems that I am doing some pretty edgy stuff with the plasma cutter. Ha-ha, it's a good thing I ignored them, purchased the machine and figured it out how to do it.
