Dr. Manevitz has held a number of significant leadership positions, which have given him a rich and innovative experience in the worlds of administrative as well as clinical psychiatry. He has been the Associate Director of Training at NYH-Cornell, Chief of Education and Training at the Lenox Hill Hospital division of the School of Medicine and NYU, and Research Psychiatrist at NYH-Cornell in conjunction with the National Institutes of Health.

A New York-based psychologist (name omitted for privacy) who struggled with depression for over 40 years began TMS with Manevitz this spring.

In 1999, he co-founded e-Shrinks, an innovative broadband company providing mental health services on the internet. He appears frequently on television and is interviewed on a broad range of topics by leading newspapers and magazines. Dr. Manevitz has been a psychiatric consultant to a number of businesses, and has appeared on national financial networks to discuss the psychology of the stock market and the irrationality of investor expectations. He is also a co-founder and Managing Member of The Doctors’ Investment Fund, L.L.C. and Mar Advisors, L.L.C.
