Turtle Bay Park & Museum Redding, California Covey Pardee Landscape Architects acted as principal landscape architect on this important local project, preparing the initial Master Plan for the project. Work included significant collaboration with the Turtle Bay's Board of Directors, civil engineer, architect, environmental consultant, and general contractor, to develop a project that fit this environmentally sensitive on the edge of the Sacramento River, and meets the needs of the community. The master plan provided the layout for pedestrian walks, the boardwalk, bicycle paths, roads, and parking, and detailed layout for the Paul Bunyan Forest Camp elements including lighting, specialized play equipment, structures, pedestrian paths, and the amphitheater.
