All of us at AAT work very hard to provide you with good service. Because we must pay our obligations on time, we depend on you to make timely payment for the services we provide you. Businesses and Institutional customers: For Business and Institutional customers, upon our credit approval, terms are net 15 from the date of invoice. Seat Fare Reservations: We ask for payment in full to hold a reservation.

To our customers: Josie and I have decided not to transport alcoholic beverages to communities that we serve, whether dry, damp, or wet. We made this decision because of several alcohol related tragedies involving good people and long time customers. While it is not our place to judge whether drinking is right or wrong, we cannot avoid acknowledging that we have contributed to the harm that has been done by helping provide easy access to alcohol. Now, we have decided that we will no longer willingly contribute to harming members of our customer communities.

Behind the scenes, we go beyond Federal Aviation Regulation requirements to ensure your safety, including additional training, investment in safety equipment, and implementation of proactive safety programs. Since we routinely operate in instrument flight weather conditions throughout the year, the demands of our operating environments compel us to employ only well qualified pilots.

Alaska Air Transit is active in the Medallion Foundation . Medallion is a standards based aviation safety program, that was founded to improve the culture of aviation safety in Alaska. Medallion participating carriers voluntarily hold themselves to higher standards than required by federal regulations. The Medallion Foundation provides training that a participating company uses to develop and implement its safety programs. Then, Medallion examiners audit the company yearly to verify compliance with Medallion standards.

We have been asked about the differences between our new 2013 Cessna Grand Caravan EX, and older Caravan models. The main differences are the addition of an advanced TKS ice protection system, advanced avionics with synthetic vision, and a new, more powerful variant of the already proven turboprop engine. The TKS ice protection system has been factory installed in new Caravans since 2008. It works by pumping a special glycol based fluid through fine laser drilled perforations in titanium leading edge surfaces.
