Description
The Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, Office of Boating Safety, is pleased to announce that Syntax Productions (a division of KTUU Channel 2) was presented with two national awards for their work on an Alaskan boating safety public service announcement. The National Association of State Boating Law Administrator's Public Service Award was given to Syntax for their work on "I Just Wish," a poignant reminder of how important it is for EVERYONE to wear a lifejacket when boating on Alaska's cold water. Syntax also received the National Water Safety Congress Award of Merit for the same public service announcement. The Office of Boating Safety congratulates Syntax, and thanks them for their contribution and service to boating safety. The awards were presented at the December 4th meeting of the Alaska Boating Safety Advisory Council.
