The Alaska Steel Rebar Division was established in 1994. We supply and fabricate rebar for jobs of all sizes ranging from simple to complex. With our mill-direct buying power and onsite fabrication line, we are able to provide cost effective reinforcing supply for jobs throughout Alaska. Our rebar division offers a full range of services including detailing, estimating, forming and value-added industry knowledge. We have a team with over 60 years of combined experience working in Alaska’s unique construction conditions. We look forward to working with you on your next project.

Alaska Steel Company is a full-line metal distributor servicing the entire state of Alaska since 1982. Our strong domestic and international mill relationships, coupled with our ability to move material effectively, allows us to provide our customers with a wide range of products competitively. We have warehouses in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Kenai with the ability to support customers needs state wide. Our seasoned sales staff and purchasing department have years of arctic weather experience and technical knowledge that is required to handle projects in extreme conditions.

Located on the Kenai Peninsula, we have been supplying customers since 1985. We offer customers a wide range of metal products. We carry a vast stock of specialized aluminum extrusions along with roofing and siding products and are able to supply custom steel/aluminum grating for river walkways. Our service driven attitude has built strong relationships with customers from small marine fabrication to energy producers in Cook Inlet. We service the oil and gas industry fabricators along with the producers themselves.

Located on 7.5 acres in Anchorage, we have been servicing customers since 1982 with the largest on-hand inventory in the state. We are the leaders in supplying low-temp structural material to the resource development industry for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on delivering quality material in a safe and effective manner to customers of all disciplines, from the home hobbyist to the major oil producers. Our knowledgeable team is here to take care of your metal supply needs.

Alaska Steel Fairbanks opened its doors in 1987. Since then we have become the leaders of metal procurement in the interior. Located in the heart of Alaska, we are able to deliver quality products with expedited service to customers on the North Slope and remote areas. We pride ourselves on having the knowledge and resources to supply material to customers of all sizes ranging from walk-ins to large fabrication shops. We also carry an extensive line of wear products/parts and furnish liner packages to the mining industry.
