Description
The Capital District Youth Chorale , now celebrating its 30th season, was founded in 1983 by Diane Warner as the SCCC Children’s Chorus. The 110 singers are drawn from 63 schools in 9 counties of the greater Capital District. Entrance into and advancement within CDYC is based upon audition results, experience and reliability.
We sought someone who is dedicated to inspiring others – young people as they are introduced to the power and excitement of the choral arts; singers as they are challenged to reach even higher levels of performance; and, audiences as they are moved by new and uplifting musical experiences. Yes, we have found just such a person in José Daniel Flores-Caraballo.
