Alhambra Hospital Medical Center, a 144-bed, fully accredited general acute care hospital with 24 hour emergency care, is dedicated to providing the highest quality, personalized and safe medical care to the community.

We encourage high school and college students to provide support to various departments throughout the hospital. AHMC recognizes the "Community Service" requirements of high schools and colleges in the San Gabriel Valley and has created the Volunteer Program to provide adolescents with an opportunity to volunteer in the healthcare setting.

The Hospital Safety Score (hospitalsafetyscore.org) is an initiative of The Leapfrog Group (leapfroggroup.org), a national nonprofit organization using the collective leverage of large purchasers of health care to initiate breakthrough improvements in the safety, quality and affordability of health care for Americans. The flagship Leapfrog Hospital Survey allows purchasers to structure their contracts and purchasing to reward the highest performing hospitals.
