Description

Ali Baba is more than just a restaurant. It is a reflection of a passion that proprietors Emile Kishek and his wife, Taghreed have for their native country. In 1999, Ali Baba was opened in South San Francisco. On the outside, graceful arches hint at the exotic promises one will find inside. Inside, hand-painted tiles imported from Jerusalem wrap around the counter. Wrought iron and stained glass light fixtures from Egypt and Morocco evoke images of far away places.
