Mr. Bishop has spent more than 30 years with Allen C. Ewing & Co. providing investment banking services to financial institutions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bishop's experience included various positions at First Union National Bank (Charlotte), Adair Realty & Mortgage Company (Atlanta), and Vice-President Investments of The Liberty Corporation (Greenville, SC).

The BCP addresses: data back up and recovery; all mission critical systems; financial and operational assessments; alternative communications with customers, employees, and regulators; alternate physical location of employees; critical supplier, contractor, bank and counter-party impact; regulatory reporting; and assuring our customers prompt access to their funds and securities if we are unable to continue our business. Our clearing firm, NFS, backs up our important records in a geographically separate area.

The Beginning In 1939, Allen C. Ewing & Co. was founded in Wilmington, North Carolina, as a local investment bank. In the mid-1950's, Mr. Ewing moved the firm to Jacksonville, Florida, as the center of coastal commerce and rail transportation shifted to that area.
