The Perry Township Trustee's office is open by appointment only. The Poor relief office is also open by appointment only. Please call 260-449-3748 and leave a message on the Township recorder with your name, address, phone number, and a short message. Your call will be returned within 24 hours or less. Calls can be returned either during the day, evening, or weekends. Indiana Township Trustees By far the largest single group of elected officials in Indiana, Township Trustees govern 1,008 townships covering every part of the state.

Nelson Peters was re-elected to a third term as 1st District Allen County Commissioner in November 2012. Peters was previously named “Outstanding First Term Commissioner” by the Indiana Association of County Commissioners.

In July, 2003, the Allen County Board of Commissioners, with support and guidance from the Fort Wayne - Allen County Department of Health, created the Allen County Onsite Wastewater Management District. This District was created to allow Allen County to utilize legislation permitting surface discharge systems for existing homes with no other options, as well as to enforce regular maintenance on all newly installed systems. September 20, 2004 was established as the effective date for the beginning of charging membership fees.
