To be Iowa's leading source of allergy, asthma, and immunological services and to provide the highest quality patient care for individuals and their families. Allergy Institute was the first allergy practice in Des Moines and Central Iowa. Dr. Al-Shash took over the practice in 1977 and later moved the practice to West Des Moines. Dr. Al-Shash is a member of the AMA and the American College of Physicians. He also has been a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and American College of Allergy and Asthma since 1977.
