Description

Curtis brings many years of P&L management, sales and consulting experience to his clients. Prior to joining ACC, he founded Kuttnauer Search Group, an executive search firm specializing in the placement of technology professionals and not-for-profit executives. He was also Managing Partner of Golden Circle Consultants LLC, providing consulting services in the audit and design of sales compensation plans. Curtis also has broad sales and sales management background, with over 16 years at IBM working with both large and small organizations across multiple industries.

John has more than 25 years of experience in business ownership and operations including cost management and procurement. He has served in various executive roles including founder of RMA Inc., UniNet Inc. and BBR Wireless Management, Inc. John has over 20 years of telecom experience along with purchasing, marketing and participation in the sale of these companies through mergers and acquisitions. He is a competitive squash and tennis player in his spare time, and holds a BA in Business Administration and Political Science from Syracuse University.

Miles is the Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Cost Containment LLC and serves on its Board of Directors. He previously co-founded UniStar, LLC, a national group purchasing organization. He worked at UniStar from 1999 until 2005. In addition, he served on the Management Committee of United Sourcing Alliance LLC, a group purchasing organization serving large manufacturers. Miles has over 18 years of experience in strategic procurement consulting, group purchasing and business development.

A leading producer of specialty rubber for hoses, gaskets and belts asked ACC to look at its liability and property & casualty insurance expenses. The management team had a long relationship with their brokers and believed that the company was receiving excellent coverage. Our subject matter experts in insurance are consultants, not brokers, and are not affiliated with any insurance company. Their research identified gaps and duplicated coverage in the policies, and they were able to design a more complete program.

Dan brings over 40 years of experience in operations and purchasing from such organizations as Dresser Industries, Cascade Corporation, Hobart Corporation and Dap, Inc., not to mention his ACC practice since 1998. He led Hobart’s efforts to centralize purchasing for 26 plant locations while serving as Chair of their Metals group in Chicago responsible for a $150,000,000 budget. As Chair of this group, he was also responsible for plant metal purchases for PreCor and West Bend. Contracts established by Dan are still in effect today.
