On behalf of the entire Alliance Team, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to visit our hospital website and learn more about the psychiatric programs and chemical dependency services our hospital has to offer. For over 50 years, Alliance has been caring for the residents and visitors of Meridian, Mississippi and the surrounding areas. And while our services have changed over the years, our goal to provide the highest quality healthcare has remained the same.
New Leaf Recovery offers adults 18 and up the opportunity to maintain a normal, functioning lifestyle while working to recover from problems with alcohol, drugs or depression. Dr. Storms has more than 25 years of experience in working with substance abuse as well as other addictions and psychological conditions.
The service director renders clinical supervision for the program and clinical staff, who are providing direct psychiatric services to patients. Each attending psychiatrist or addictionologist attends treatment planning meetings to develop and update treatment plans of his patients and is also responsible for the total medical management of the patient.
Alliance is dedicated to serving individuals with acute behavioral health disorders, mental illness and addiction issues. Specific programs are provided for patients according to their diagnosis and age. Behavioral health programs are offered to adolescents, adults and seniors. Detoxification, dual diagnosis and New Leaf Recovery programs are offered to individuals 18 and up. A skilled and specialized treatment team develops an individualized treatment plan for each patient. This plan includes an assessment, medication management and individualized therapy in a group setting.
