In January of 2000, seven insurance agents, working independently, but all representing the same company, came together and had an idea. Instead of being limited to the rates and guidelines of one company, why not start an agency that represents multiple companies, so we would have a choice for our clients? Instead of saying, “We’re sorry, you no longer qualify for this policy or this rate”, we could say, “Your situation has changed and I need to quote your coverage with some other companies.” On July 17, 2000, we opened The Alliance Insurance Group.

At Alliance Insurance Group, it is our goal to provide our customers with auto, property, motorcycle, business, life, health and other insurance coverage that is customized to meet their needs. We do, however, take our responsibility a step further. We see the importance of educating our customers about what they are buying and how they can keep more of their hard-earned dollars in their pocket .By using our highly trained and experienced staff, you'll gain the knowledge about your coverage that most agencies just do not take the time to share.

Gerry is originally from Louisiana, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from LSU. He has lived in North Carolina since 1976 and has 38 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is married to Polly who is recently retired form teaching and has three daughters and is blessed with three granddaughters, Aubrey, Ava and Sidney. He is especially proud of the agency he and his partners started from scratch and have built for the last 14 years.
