Jeff Affleck (President) and Steve Hilyard (Vice President) started Alltemp Inc. in 1997. These two highly skilled technicians wanted to provide an air conditioning and refrigeration repair service to their community. They wanted to provide a service to their community, which was both fast and efficient. After only a few years, they found that they could not do this alone because they were too busy. They started to bring on addtional qualified staff to provide the quality of service this company has become known for, which is now in high demand.

Alltemp has been doing quality and timely home installations since we started in business here on Maui 12 years ago. We have installed home units of various types and manufacturers all across the island. We now are having more of our customers request the newer energy efficient A/C units so they can take advantage of the Federal and State Rebates that are available, all while reducing their energy bills.

In compliance with the Clean Air Act manufactures can no longer produce equipment that operates on R-22 refrigerant as of January 1, 2010 . New equipment manufactured after this date operates on R-410 A refrigerant. R-22 and R-410 A EQUIPMENT IS NON-COMPATIBLE WITH EACH OTHER. When it becomes neccessary to replace split system A/C equipment in most cases BOTH indoor and outdoor units must be replaced. This issue can add significant expense to a project.
