Description
Alpine’s experience is wide-ranging across both industry and technology spaces. For a new specialty products company, assessed the overall market potential for a new “biodegradable”, lactic acid-based polymer, focusing on biomedical, consumer products and industrial applications. Developed and implemented a new sales strategy for introducing and selling new test & measurement electronics devices into European markets, for a major electronics manufacturer.
Commercialization of new technology is a complex enterprise. Success is ultimately more a function of how well a company executes its strategy and commercialization plan than on the intrinsic value of technology. Alpine’s team of professionals are leaders with long records of success and achievement in a variety of industry sectors. We are committed to providing outstanding client service on a foundation built on integrity, trust, professionalism and teamwork.
We need small amounts of capital to fund the movement of ideas from lab to market. These pre-seed or seed stage investments are usually under the radar screen of most venture capital firms and are the most risky propositions; but without them the pipeline of startups cannot be realized. Paul Goblet, who heads the New Mexico SBIC board, is proposing that a seed fund with contributions from the money set aside by the state legislature and some venture firms can be developed to fund the development of these ideas so that venture capital firms will have enough deal flow to stay in New Mexico.
