Description

This program focuses on providing therapeutic services for senior adults in nursing home settings or for consumers requiring skilled nursing care. The intent is to decrease existing symptoms so that the consumer maintains stability and avoids involuntary admission to a state psychiatric hospital. Practice guidelines may include but are not limited to supportive therapy, behavior modification, skills training, cognitive-behavior therapy, and grief therapy.

Watching a child suffer from a mental health crisis is one of the toughest experiences a parent can encounter. The first priority is for the child to receive treatment that will alleviate the acute symptoms as swiftly as possible. Our goal at BayPointe Children’s Hospital is to provide the highest quality of care to all our patients so they can return safely and successfully to the community.
