When you purchase a home that is within a unit of the original Alta Sierra Estates (ASE), your title papers included a copy of a document called the Declaration of Restrictions (DRs). The DRs are the 1960's version of what are now known as CC&Rs, or Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions. Copies of each of the sets of DRs specific to the units in the Alta Sierra Estates can be found on our website. Many residents mistakenly believe that DRs only apply to them if they join the Alta Sierra Property Owners Association (ASPOA).
